"Before I got connected to Chrissy, I was struggling for a long time. I had finally gotten rid of my Lyme disease after 10 years, but still my body was having issues. I couldn’t figure out what was wrong, but I was tired of constant pain, nausea, and bloating while being a work-slammed sophomore in high school. Chrissy was my mom’s sorority sister, which was how we fortunately got connected. Since my first zoom call with Chrissy, I started to have a little bit of hope, I could tell she was really knowledgeable about the body, and was immediately impressed. She was quick to diagnose me with SIBO (Small Intestinal Bacterial Overgrowth) based upon my symptoms. I was admittedly defiant and against going on the strict FODMAP diet. Most doctors would either force me to do the diet, or refuse to help me entirely if I had been defiant about their program. Chrissy, however, took the time to explain to me the importance of it, and told me that while she could not force me to do anything, she would try to make it easy for me if I decided to take her word and just try it. If not for her patience and kindness throughout the entire process, I would be nowhere near where I am now. Pretty much every supplement, diet, and tactic Chrissy had told me about made a significant difference in my health. After almost 2 years of slow progress, and a program we have worked together to make manageable, I can finally tolerate almost every food I once was unable to have, without the constant discomfort and bloating.
